Jackie Lee and I thank all of you for liking our new website. I am busy playing my music, and thinking about where my stories will go. My great grandfather was one of the children taken from Scotland to a work farm in Canada. All I know is that when he was still young he ran away with a friend over the Canadian plains. It was dangerous and hard, his friend didn’t make it. My great grandfather crossed the border into Michigan, he couldn’t spell his name and having a Scottish accent they wrote down what they heard. I have learned that they might have written down the wrong spelling. This is something we will never be sure of. A family took him in, he worked for them, and when they passed the farm was left to him. We have so many more means of keeping records today, but history has always captured my interest. I will get back to finishing my two books later this year, I am on a music and fact finding adventure for now. Have a great day and never give up hope for a brighter day. I will be back tomorrow. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I love writing and live in the Northwest with my beloved German shepherds, Anatolian shepherd, horse, Valise Blacknose sheep and parrot. Because of COVID, I am now retired which gives me time to play and work on my farm. I’m learning to fiddle and read music; I have 8 books published, and a children's book and a coloring book of Ruger’s Adventures. I am now writing under JMMAdams. View more posts
